The Czech Symphony Orchestra performed at the Konzerthaus Dortmund in the matinée series of the Mozart Society. Under the baton of Robert Kružík, the orchestra shone in Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8 and a Slavonic Dance, praised for its warm, full sound and joyful Czech spirit.
A special highlight was young American violinist Claire Wells (23), who impressed with an expressive and technically brilliant interpretation of Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto.
🎶 The concert received enthusiastic press coverage in Ruhr Nachrichten – celebrating both the orchestra and soloist as a memorable “dream team” on stage.
